Up for sale is this 2025 Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Double Trouble in Vintage Tobacco Burst — a limited-run Les Paul that takes the already excellent Standard '60s formula and pushes it further into vintage territory in every way, and this one is in absolute mint condition, completely unplayed and still has the plastic on the pickguard. What makes the Double Trouble special is two things — the uncovered Burstbucker 61R and 61T pickups with Double Classic White bobbins, hand-wound with Alnico 5 magnets and hand-wired with Orange Drop capacitors just like the originals, and the subtly faded gloss nitrocellulose Vintage Tobacco Burst finish that looks like it's already been aged a few years right out of the factory — stunning in person. Everything else is peak Les Paul Standard '60s spec: solid non-weight-relieved mahogany body with AA figured maple top, SlimTaper mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets with trapezoid inlays, ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge with aluminum stop bar, and Grover Rotomatic tuners with kidney buttons. Comes with all original case candy as shown in the photos, all tucked in the original brown leather Gibson hardshell case — as fresh as the day it left Nashville.
