1999 Gibson Limited Edition Flying V '98 in Natural Burst, and the whole point of this model is that Gibson built it to mark 40 years of the V by taking the best of two eras and putting them on one guitar. You get the 1958 layout with the in-line knobs, the original jack placement, and the '58 style pickguard and pickup rings, sitting on the later body with a Tune-o-matic and stop tailpiece. It's mahogany body and neck with a rounded profile, 22 fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, 24.75 inch scale and 12 inch radius, Grover tuners, and the big white truss rod cover with the raised gold Gibson logo. The gold Limited Edition decal is on the back of the headstock. Pickups are the factory 496R and 500T ceramics, which give it real output and cut without losing the low end, and everything else is original including the hardware. No breaks, repairs, or cracks anywhere on it. There's some light player's wear and pick swirls, nothing crazy for a guitar this age, and the frets are close to perfect with plenty of life left. Strap buttons were swapped for locking ones and the originals come along in the case. Ships in the original brown Gibson hardshell case with the pink lining.
